A new kid in town
Today I will investigate a relatively new player on the market: Kwizbot. Despite being very close to its more established rival, Intercom, Kwizbot is yet to conquer the clients' hearts. So if you want more space for customization, it's an excellent chance to get a custom deal while the Kwizbot team still needs to gather its clientele.
In a nutshell:
Intercom uses site widget, SMS, and emails as its channels, and it works perfectly for conservative clients. But Kwizbot is tailor-made for social media sales: Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, Whatsapp, Viber, and Telegram are all available, so you can walk your customer through the whole sales process without them ever leaving their favorite social media or messenger app. This feature, coupled with social media advertising, is precious when it comes to younger people and impulsive sales.
Intercom's site widget is its main gauge. It has a full range of frontend features, so if the site is your primary sales instrument, Intercom might be what you need. Still, the Kwizbot team acknowledges that the widget is their growth zone and quickly develops their variant further. It's high time to order some tailor-made features while they are still adding them and accepting proposals.
Near the comparison stars is there for a reasonThe "but"Intercom has a bigger range of automation tools, so if you have established pipelines you aren't going to change anytime soon, Intercom may save you a lot of time and money. But if you need something unusual, Kwizbot is the leader. Despite not having as many automatization features, they offer you customized integrations with different projects, can add new tools per your requests, and provide personalized support even if you are a medium-scale business. For example, Kwizbot is already using the hype around ChatGPT and offers integration with it, being one of the first (or even THE first) customer support system to do so.
On the other hand, the Kwizbot control panel is simple and requires less employee training, which may come in handy. If you pay for onboarding and have lots of staff, the saved costs may add up and compensate for the slightly less abundant features.
Another Kwizbot feature is the absence of the vendor lock. Intercom allows you limited changes (and it's better for safety), but if you have programmers in your company, you may change Kwizbot however you like. Changing the product is a slippery slope because fixing it back after an unsuccessful patch can take more time and money than asking for a new feature from the vendor. But if you firmly believe in your dev department, no vendor lock policy is a great deal.
Frontend customization deserves a bullet point of its own because it's a Kwizbot's "but."
The Kwizbot team just nails it, offering you to customize their product according to your brandbook. It isn't usually a big deal because Intercom also offers a decent degree of customization. But if you advertise a high–end product or your site has a very distinctive visual style, a matching widget may be an essential thing to have.
Both systems are very secure (otherwise, they will be kicked from the market instantly!), but Intercom has a broader range of certificates. If you have very particular safety requirements, consult with your digital security manager and check which one of the systems has the certificate you need.
Kwizbot has more flexibility with tracking, so you may fine-tune different analysis instruments for various purposes, still staying in the same interface, i.e., create a panel for marketing, a panel for customer support, a panel for the finance department, and so on.
Intercom has a more than sufficient range of instruments, too, so if you are already using another analysis system or don't need deeper tracking, it's totally fine to use. Still, if you plan to scale your business later, conduct an audit, or do an extensive retrospective analysis, having a range of data provided by Kwizbot may save you money because you don't have to hire human specialists to process the figures.
